LGBTQ Resource Center in Casper, Wyoming.
UC Davis LGBTQ Resource Center
Resource centers can provide an abundance of educational, support, and health resources for the LGBTQ community.
An LGBTQ Resource Center provides invaluable resources to the LGBTQ community. These resources cover questions and issues related to health, interpersonal relationships, education, community and individual development, and careers.
The Center will be staffed with experts in local resources and will have a vast database detailing the most LGBT-friendly healthcare offices, government officials, and local businesses.
Creating this resource for Casper and wider Wyoming would signal the beginning of a new time in The Equality State: a time of acceptance, tolerance, and support for the LGBTQ community.
An LGBTQ Resource Center wouldn't come without challenges. The Center will cost approximately $150,000 to start and, while we're actively seeking partnerships with local advocacy groups, we still need your help.
By donating to this project, your name or business will be included on a commemorative plaque within the LGBTQ Resource Center, so your contribution can be celebrated and remembered daily. Additionally, you will receive weekly updates regarding our progress on the project. With your help, we can create a safer and more accepting community for our fellow Wyomingites.
